The AI for Creative Visual Content Generation, Editing and Understanding (CVEU) returns for its 8th edition with three sessions: a course, an AIGC focused BoF and an Art Tech focused BoF that together explore the evolving dialogue between machine intelligence and human creativity.

To support the further development of the drama community and to better spread theatrical culture among the residents of the neighborhood, and with the support of Jianguomen Subdistrict and Poly Jianguomen Public Cultural Operation Company, we have collaborated with Xuan Guoxian, a third-year student from the Directing Department of the Central Academy of Drama, to present the play "Romeo and Juliet" at the Juyin Theatre.

In response to the initiative put forward by General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee to "strengthen international cooperation, jointly build the 'Belt and Road Initiative,' and achieve win-win development," and to promote film professional education and the social popularization of film culture in countries along the Belt and Road and other relevant countries, and to foster the development of young film talents from various countries, the "Belt and Road International Film Education Alliance," initiated and hosted by the Central Academy of Drama, was established on November 28th at our Changping campus.

The "Second National Symposium on Broadcasting and Hosting Professional Education," organized by the Central Academy of Drama and hosted by its Department of Film and Television, was held from May 29th to 30th at the Changping campus of the Central Academy of Drama. The theme of this symposium was "New Perspectives on the Development of Hosting Art in the New Era of Integrated Media."

2019 marked the 130th anniversary of the birth of Ouyang Yuqian, a renowned Chinese playwright, drama educator, early film artist, dance theorist, and the first president of the Central Academy of Drama. To commemorate this rare artistic polymath in the history of modern Chinese art, the Central Academy of Drama held a series of commemorative events.
